ROCK table by JEAN-MARIE MASSAUD, designed in 2020. The iconic table, with its fluid and elegant silhouette, completely reveals the nature of what it represents: “a round table” that seems to float above a solid, inorganic base. A mixture of natural and industrial materials that are blended to create a new product with a smooth design, following the same philosophy of Flow collection. In 2020 ROCK Table will be enhanced with new outdoor finishes: white stone chip cement top, combined with the natural cement base. Green stone chip cement top combined with a green cement base. Terracotta stone chip cement top combined with a terracotta colour cement base. NEIL TWIST chair by JEAN-MARIE MASSAUD, designed in 2020. Gritty, versatile, vibrant, yet at the same time an icon of essentiality, in perfect harmony with MDF Italia’s style. These are the main features of NEIL armchair, that today comes in a brand new version: NEIL twist chair, whose eloquent name makes us sense that the manually braided rope is the project’s protagonist, with a key detail – the contrasting internal cross-stitch – that adds character to the overall view.
ARPA indoor and outdoor sofa, armchair and side table by RAMÓN ESTEVE, designed in 2020. As its name implies, ARPA collection is inspired by the harp, one of the most beautiful and mesmerizing musical instruments. Unlike the meticulous work involved in manufacturing a harp, in designing this collection, rigorous paring down was applied, resolving each piece with the least possible number of elements. ARPA collection combines the stability of the orthogonal external shape with the softness and comfort of the inner cushion shell. The thin strings add elegance and fineness to every piece, giving a special sense of lightness, as if the whole cushion mass was hanging from the structure. Designed to be timeless, ARPA aims to become an icon, not only for aesthetical reasons, but also for its functionality and comfort.
FLOW IROKO indoor and outdoor chair by JEAN-MARIE MASSAUD, designed in 2020. FLOW, icon of MDF Italia collection, renews itself and, thanks to the Iroko wooden base, it is also suitable for outdoor spaces. FLOW chair IROKO also meets the various design needs for contract, hospitality, and restaurant business. The swivel 4-legged base, is made of solid IROKO, a very dense African wood, highly resistant to bad weather, light and extremes of temperature. A characteristic of thus wood is its smooth, even surface. All parts made of IROKO are treated using an exclusive varnish, specifically for outdoor use.
